Twenty-one years ago, promising young singer-songwriter Grayson
March took an embarrassing fall at his first big show and knocked himself
unconscious on a drum riser. Now, in 2017, after another head injury from
falling off a ladder, that's the last thing Grayson can remember. Half his
life, the peak of his career, and the birth of his son have apparently
passed him by, and the memories are all just gone. Thankfully, he still has
his lifelong best friend Jude by his side to help fill in the gaps - but when
it starts to become obvious that Jude isn't telling him everything,
Grayson has to work to put the pieces together on his own. Is he just a
washed up has-been now and Jude's trying to protect him from it? Or is
it possible that Grayson's life has more love and happiness in it than he
ever could have dreamed up half a lifetime ago, if he can just get the
perspective to see it properly?
